About this service

Are you an insurance company?

No. HomeHealthWorkersComp passes requests to licensed agents and partners. It does not issue policies or set premiums.

What does it cost to request quotes?

Nothing. There is no fee to submit a request.

Who will contact me?

A licensed agent or partner who writes workers comp for care providers may call, text or email you as you agreed on the form.

We are in a state assigned risk plan. Can we still ask?

Yes. Agencies in an assigned risk plan often look for voluntary market coverage once they have some claims-free history.

Do you cover professional liability too?

This site focuses on workers comp. Agents who contact you may discuss other coverage, such as professional or general liability, if you ask.

Can a brand-new agency get coverage?

Usually yes, though underwriters look closely at the owners' experience and the agency's safety plans.

Which states do you serve?

Requests are accepted from agencies anywhere in the U.S. Availability depends on the agents and insurers in your state, and some states require comp to be bought from a state fund.

How do I stop messages?

Reply STOP to a text, ask the caller to stop, or use the request form on the privacy page.

Coverage questions

Do I need workers comp if my caregivers are part time?

In most states, yes. Part-time employees generally count, though thresholds and exemptions vary by state.

Are nurses and aides in the same class?

Often they are grouped under the same home health classification, but rules vary by state and by insurer. Ask how your quote classifies each role.

Is a dog bite in a client's home covered by comp?

If the caregiver was working at the time, the injury is generally treated as work related. The client's homeowners policy may also be involved.

Can I avoid comp by using 1099 caregivers?

Calling caregivers contractors does not by itself remove the obligation. State rules on employee status control.

Renewal coming up for your agency?

Share your care type, staff count and payroll band. A licensed agent or partner may contact you to review comp options.
